OUR STAFF and WHAT THEY DO
Our know-how in the preparation and packing of liquids for human consumption, has fostered the development of a patchwork of different professional specializations.
These enable our staff to acquire new skills, underpinned by a training programme, with opportunities for internal promotion in the framework of a social policy that is under continuous development.
A selection of jobs at the Laiterie de Saint Denis de l’Hôtel :
Development technician
You develop a function based on innovation and the creation and improvement of products.
In a particularly dynamic environment, and in permanent liaison with the marketing departments of our customers and our own sales department, you supervise industrial trials to validate them for production.
You are particularly concerned with quality, competitiveness and the commercial production of our products.

Preparation controller
You control a vital stage in production on the basis of a production schedule and precise recipes. You operate on the product directly with the aid of a variety of tools.
You apply the "recipe cards" and operate a continuous check on the results of your work with reference to the production specifications.
You will occupy different positions according to the day's production programme.
Laboratory technician
Your mission is cross-departmental, crucial to food safety
and customer satisfaction.
Your job will involve physical, chemical and microbiological
analyses of raw materials, preparations, production in progress
and finished products.
It is your task to incorporate inspections in the production process, and to control traceability and food safety.
Process controller
Working from a production plan, you operate a set of automated
production installations. You are responsible for the heat
treatment (sterilization, pasteurization, etc.) of liquids
for human consumption prepared in accordance with standards
relating to quality, hygiene and food safety.
You carry out the operations necessary for the start-up and
proper functioning of these machines in accordance with the
production rules.
You check settings and input of raw materials, and check parameters
regularly. You also take into account constraints such as
quality, deadlines, production rates and costs.
Packing controller
You operate one or more packing machines, supervise and maintain
equipment, and check the conformity of products and the packing
process.
This requires you to co-ordinate and regulate production operations
by :
- checking settings and supply of raw materials and packings,
- regular verification of parameters,
- taking into account constraints relating to quality, deadlines,
rates of production and costs,
- scheduled maintenance and/or level 1 breakdown clearance.
Overwrapping and palettization
controller
Working from a production plan, you operate one or more overwrapping
machines in accordance with standards relating to quality,
hygiene and food safety.
This involves optimizing the appearance of all our products
by the addition of accessories (stoppers, straws, stickers,
etc.), grouping and protecting them in batches of brik-packs
presented to satisfy the customer and the end-user.
You attend the automated palletization operation, respecting
the rules for the handling of stock, before forwarding to
the dispatch room.
Fork-lift truck operator
You perform all the operations involved in reception, storage,
delivery, preparation of orders, loading and unloading.
You are thus independently responsible for the reception,
inspection, storage and dispatch to the production/manufacturing
workshops of raw materials and of finished products to our
customers.
You apply the rules for stock management, using the data-processing
tools placed at your disposal. You drive and maintain the
electric handling equipment and are responsible for the hygiene
and safety of your sector.
Electro-mechanical technician
Working from a preventive and improvement maintenance plan,
you carry out the maintenance operations (cleaning, replacement
of parts, etc.) on the production lines and effect technical
improvements, respecting the requirements relating to food
safety, reliability of the system and product quality.
Your work also includes an important element of remedial maintenance:
repair of breakdowns or unforeseen malfunctions.
You take part in special operations relating to production:
changes of format, tooling or programme.

Quality technician
You devote yourself to implementing the policy laid down by
the Management.
Working in close collaboration with the teams on the ground,
customers and suppliers, you organize and are responsible
for the respect of the rules aimed at ensuring the satisfaction
of the customer and the end user.
You prepare production specifications, and you manage audits
and complaints.
You collaborate with the other departments to identify and
resolve quality problems.

Safety and environment technician
You are responsible for keeping a check on all our industrial
waste and its recycling.
You ensure respect of health and safety regulations through
training and preventive actions of staff.

Customer and procurement manager
You are at the heart of the logistical chain, managing procurement
and flows of raw materials, consumables and finished products.

Data processing technician
You liaise with the different departments and define the data
processing needs of the company.
You participate in the design, creation and implementation
of applications.
You are responsible for maintenance of the programmes produced
and provide technical support for our partners. |
