For more than ten years, LSDH has been building, together with its dairy farmers, a responsible and sustainable dairy sector founded on trust, transparency and concrete practices. More than 500 farmers are now supported in this approach, with regular audits, personalised action plans and ongoing dialogue.
A comprehensive approach, from field to bottle
Our commitments cover the entire chain: animal health and welfare, GMO-free feed, grazing, water and energy management, carbon emission reduction, biodiversity, training for young farmers, support for new farm start-ups, and fair pay.
Each farm is monitored against precise criteria, adapted to both societal expectations and the realities on the ground. These are facts, figures and results – not promises.
Producing differently, in tune with the living world
Our farmers practise local farming, using short supply chains where possible, and favour local resources. A growing share of our production excludes imported soy, with enhanced traceability. Our organic sector and Bleu-Blanc-Cœur initiatives are fully part of this approach.
A shared vision
Every year, LSDH supports new farmers as they set up, providing training, support, audits and ongoing dialogue. This collective effort delivers results: improved practices, reduced environmental impact, greater animal welfare and recognition for farmers.
On the ground and in our factories alike, we move in the same direction, with the same standard: doing things properly, sustainably, and with the people who are committed to it.

Our employees share the passion that drives them, with sincerity, agility and humility.

A Second Life for Our Jars: A Unique Project with S’glas
Near our Alsatian JFA factory, in the charming village of Lutzelbourg, the S’glas workshop partnered with us to give our 25 cl jars a new life. Specialising in turning bottles into tableware art pieces, the workshop put its artisanal know-how to work, transforming them into unique espresso cups. This exceptional project resulted in a handmade gift set, entirely made in France.
A meaningful collaboration:
At the helm of S’glas, Maya Thomas embodies the idea of reinvention herself. After a career change, she passionately turned to the art of glass. This project naturally ties in with the theme of LSDH Group’s greeting card this year: “Reinventing yourself, flourishing”, which showcases the inspiring journeys of some of our employees.
A jar that reinvents itself:
The choice to turn a jar into an espresso cup symbolically echoes the theme of our greeting card. Just as these jars find a new purpose, we celebrate, through this initiative, everyone’s ability to reinvent themselves and flourish. This project reflects both a sustainable approach and a wonderful life lesson.
Watch the video:
Discover in our video below the behind-the-scenes of this project: from the artisanal transformation of the jars to their rebirth as elegant espresso cups. A local, sustainable and creative approach that celebrates French craftsmanship.
A gift set full of meaning:
More than just an object, this set of espresso cups tells a double story: one of recycling, and one of reinvention. It embodies our vision of a world where everything – and everyone – can flourish through a second life.
Watch the video and let yourself be inspired by this wonderful human and artisanal adventure.
