Newsletter April 2016: LSDH Innovation Awards

4 April 2016
To put its customers in the limelight internally and externally, LSDH has decided to create a Trophy to reward its favourite new products. The eighth edition of the ‘LSDH Innovation Awards’ took place on Thursday, March 24th.

Again this year, LSDH has worked hand-in-hand with its customers to provide consumers with original, delicious and high-quality creations. Innovation is at the heart of our strategy. This is what makes unquestionably the difference. This is also what brings us together: every day, our teams take initiatives and continuously renew themselves; they address challenges to develop increasingly innovative products.

This philosophy, together with our will to place people and our know-how at the centre of our concerns, led us quite naturally to create the ‘LSDH Innovation Awards’. This ceremony gives the floor to our employees; they choose to reward the industrial, distributors and catering products they consider the most innovative. Taste, originality, convenience and aesthetics are the selection criteria to award winners. But not only! The way the collaboration went between LSDH and its customer is also taken into account.

By this action, we transmit and give full substance to values that are important to us like exchange and sharing. It is a good opportunity to gather around our common achievements and to enable our employees to discover our customers in a different way.

This year, our employees decided to reward:

Category ‘Industrial’:
Nuva - Flavoured waters
for the originality of recipes that combine two different trendy tastes in a growing market

Category ‘Private Labels’:
Le Fromager des Halles - Pure juice Les Fruisettes
for the creation of a distinctive brand with original and colourful packaging.

Category ‘Out-of-home catering’:
Oléron export - Maître et Chef cream 35%
for the long term constructive partnership between our two companies and the high development potential in the next coming years.
