Buying a product labelled “Bio Équitable en France” means supporting producers who are:

 

  • Committed to agro-ecological practices

Members commit to implementing at least 5 agro-ecological practices (agroforestry, grassland preservation, appropriate variety selection, etc.)

 

  • Following organic practices and respecting animal welfare

Livestock farming is defined as a relationship between humans and animals. Cows are raised under organic production methods that respect their fundamental needs, in a suitable environment.

A Three-Year Commitment

Buyers and processors are guaranteed access to quality products, and producers are guaranteed secure outlets for their goods.

 

Provision of a development fund:

Users of the Bio Équitable en France label pay 1% of their revenue to the producer groups they contract with. This helps strengthen a collective dynamic and/or improve production conditions.
