The principle behind Bleu-Blanc-Cœur is to feed animals better while respecting nature’s balance, combining animal health, the environment and product quality for better human nutrition.
The Bleu-Blanc-Cœur specifications have the distinctive feature of meeting a dual requirement:
▪ a resource requirement, with a minimum amount of omega 3 added to the feed ration and a list of prohibited raw materials (GMOs, for example);
▪ a results requirement for the final product regarding its lipid composition.
This same set of specifications requires a balanced feed ration through the selection of raw materials based on the quality of the fats they contain.
