LSDH is committed to championing the regions where it operates, as sources of innovation and of economic and social value creation. That is why, for many years, our sites have opened their doors on various occasions (World Milk Day, Industry Week…).

Every year, around 1 June, the official date of World Milk Day, we introduce visitors to the very first food of life, from the production farm through to final packaging.

At each edition, the Saint-Denis-de-l’Hôtel and Varennes-sur-Fouzon dairies welcome close to 1,000 visitors.

Twice a year, LSDH welcomes students from Agro-ParisTech. In January, employees talk with first-year students about their career paths and their experience in the roles they currently hold. LSDH takes care to introduce these students, whose final specialisation will come later, to all the engineering professions found within the company, showing that there are as many career paths as there are engineers, and that one’s initial specialisation — while crucial at the start of a career — does not define an entire professional life. Many bridges exist that allow people to move from one profession to another, and from one sector to another. In September, these future engineers who have chosen the economics track meet Emmanuel Vasseneix, Chairman of LSDH, who introduces them to every facet of running a company and shares his passion for managing people.

The Group also sees it as an academic mission to raise future generations’ awareness of the jobs of tomorrow.

At Crudettes, “Open Days” are held for employees and their families.

Discovering a loved one’s workplace, meeting colleagues, showcasing one’s expertise… These are all moments that bring the company a little closer to its employees, nurture pride in belonging to the Group’s various teams, and help build lasting relationships. The shared day held at the Crudettes sites in Châteauneuf-sur-Loire and Cabannes is another example of the company culture, which champions the will to move beyond differences and turn them into an asset for working together. There is no shortage of standout moments between employees, including the sites’ General Assemblies.

Whatever the site or the occasion, employees are always very proud to take part in these days and to introduce visitors to their company as guides or workshop hosts.
